Description
International insurtech is looking for a Project Manager to deliver technology and business projects across Europe, combining hands-on project delivery with PMO responsibilities. The role covers governance, reporting and portfolio oversight while working closely with internal teams, clients and external partners across multiple countries. It requires structured planning, risk management and clear stakeholder communication in a fast-paced, international environment.
Responsibilities
Deliver client-focused and internal projects within defined scope, timelines and budgets
Define project scope and objectives based on customer needs and business priorities
Prepare key project documentation, including Project Charter and RACI, and lead project kick-offs
Ensure resource planning and allocation in collaboration with project sponsors
Facilitate discovery sessions and support requirements elicitation, validation and documentation
Consolidate acceptance criteria from all involved stakeholders and departments
Identify, assess and manage risks, issues and dependencies, including escalation when needed
Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including critical path management
Establish governance structures and ensure adherence to internal frameworks and standards
Lead project meetings such as steering committees and team stand-ups
Manage changes to scope, timelines and budgets in a controlled manner
Coordinate cross-functional teams, clients, partners and vendors
Provide regular status updates and prepare project reports for stakeholders
Monitor project performance using appropriate tools and methodologies
Maintain project documentation in line with internal processes
Conduct retrospectives and ensure proper project closure
Manage multiple projects simultaneously in an international, cross-functional environment
Support portfolio reporting, audits and risk monitoring
Drive data collection, analysis and continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
4–5 years of experience in Project Management or as a Scrum Master
Fluent English and Polish, both written and spoken
Additional languages such as German, French, Italian or Spanish are an advantage
Proven experience delivering client-facing solutions in insurance, telco, banking or mobility sectors
Experience in digital and/or retail environments with strong stakeholder management exposure
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and consistently meet deadlines while maintaining quality
Understanding of technical concepts or prior technical development experience
Knowledge of Agile methodologies and project management frameworks
Formal project management certification
Strong problem-solving and team coordination skills
Adapt communication style to different stakeholders and situations
Handle multiple priorities effectively and remain resilient in complex environments
Focus on delivering measurable outcomes aligned with business goals
Take ownership, act proactively and address issues quickly
Demonstrate strong customer focus and incorporate feedback into solutions
Collaborate effectively across teams, building trust and strong working relationships
Communicate clearly and concisely, using data to support decisions and recommendations
