Description

The employer is an IT consultancy firm that helps startups, mid-sized and large corporations create and deliver innovative technology solutions, with a track record in AI, ML, BI, Web and automation projects across telecom, energy, banking, insurance, pharma, automotive, e-commerce and industry. The company is looking for a Senior Business Analyst to analyse, design and optimize business processes in the insurance claims area. The role acts as a partner to both business and IT, supporting transformation projects and initiatives around process automation, AI and Agentic SDLC-based solutions. Work is hybrid from Warsaw with 3 days per week in the office, and services must be provided from the territory of Poland.

Responsibilities

Analysis, modelling and optimization of business processes related to claims handling
Identification of automation and improvement opportunities for business processes
Gathering, analysing and documenting business and system requirements
Developing concepts for changes in IT systems and recommending optimal business solutions
Managing the requirements backlog, creating User Stories and supporting work prioritization
Analysing the impact of changes on business processes, systems, architecture and integrations
Coordinating analytical work between business stakeholders, IT teams and external vendors
Preparing project documentation and participating in business tests and acceptance of deployed solutions
Identifying and implementing solutions using AI, Machine Learning and business process automation
Designing and developing business analysis standards and mentoring less experienced analysts
Designing solutions based on the Agentic SDLC methodology
Configuring and parameterizing processes directly in the system
Monitoring the effectiveness of implemented solutions and recommending optimization actions

Requirements

Minimum 6 years of experience in business analysis or requirements management
Minimum 3 years of experience in transformation projects at the business-IT interface
Experience in business process modelling and in defining business and system requirements
Very good knowledge of BPMN, UML or other process modelling notations
Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and requirements backlog management
Ability to run analytical workshops and align requirements with stakeholders
Experience preparing analytical and project documentation
Knowledge of the change lifecycle in IT systems
Ability to analyse business, process and system dependencies
Experience in business testing and in IT solution deployments
Knowledge of claims handling processes or experience in the insurance sector
Knowledge of AI and business process automation
Experience in analysing integration solutions
English at a minimum B2 level
