Description
A Senior Conversion Design Analyst is sought to join a product delivery team focused on user growth. The role blends product design with experimentation and analytics: framing real user problems from qualitative and quantitative data, designing flows and screens, running A/B tests and analysing their results end to end. The person works closely with the business owner of that area and the engineers building it, alongside a company-wide group of Conversion Design Analysts who share the same working standards.

Responsibilities
Design experiences grounded in real user needs and real neighbourhood life
Design flows and screens that are highly usable, intuitive and add measurable value
Frame the real problem before solving it by digging into quantitative and qualitative data
Make the problem explainable and actionable for the team
Design testable changes, get them instrumented properly and analyse the outcome
Report tests that did not work and explain what you would do differently
Spend real time talking to neighbours to understand what people actually need
Brief AI on first-pass design, push back on it and hold the quality bar
Decide what earns its place in the product and argue for cutting things
Requirements
Practice product design and analytics, with a background in either analysis or design
Technical know-how and experience setting up and evaluating experiments in an A/B testing tool
Build dashboards for the problem space and use design system tooling
Data literacy to pull your own numbers via SQL and work with raw data
Experience running experiments end to end: hypothesis, metrics, test variants and analysis
Statistical literacy, understanding Bayesian vs frequentist approaches and power analysis
Care about craft and attention to detail in the experiences you design
Fluency with AI tools and ability to leverage the AI enablement stack
Present work clearly, defend decisions when challenged and be comfortable in front of a crowd
Excellent English skills for working in an international team
Experience with a marketplace, community, classifieds or other network product
Strong German, or the confidence to design in it with support
Experience building or maintaining parts of a design system
Comfortable writing SQL without AI assistance
Basic dbt knowledge
