Description

Senior Full Stack Engineer for a core satellite-analytics product that turns satellite data into reliable, actionable insights for operators of critical infrastructure. The role is high-ownership: part hands-on engineering, part systems design, part technical leadership within a squad. You will work across the full product lifecycle, shaping and building new features while strengthening the architecture and engineering practices that support long-term growth, using a modern TypeScript and Python stack.

Responsibilities

Design and build features end to end (TypeScript & Python), translating product requirements into reliable, well-tested systems
Define and implement integrations with the platform and data services, ensuring clean interfaces, reliable data flows and extensibility
Collaborate across teams to reuse and adapt shared components, aligning on architecture, APIs and engineering standards
Own key architectural decisions on service boundaries, data models and deployment patterns
Iterate quickly on feedback from product, customers and stakeholders, evolving features into production-grade solutions
Mentor teammates, review code and help shape technical direction as a senior voice on the team
Champion engineering best practices such as code quality, documentation, testing and observability
Contribute across the stack, from backend services and APIs to frontend interfaces

Requirements

Strong engineering fundamentals in TypeScript and Python, with a focus on clean, maintainable and well-structured code
Several years building and shipping full stack applications in production, including backend services, APIs and modern frontend interfaces
Proven ability to own features end to end and deliver them reliably, translating product requirements into production-grade solutions
Experience designing and implementing integrations between systems (APIs, data pipelines, third-party services)
Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS) and deploying and operating scalable services
Solid understanding of software architecture and system design, with the ability to make pragmatic trade-offs
Experience working in collaborative, cross-functional environments and aligning with multiple stakeholders
Experience mentoring engineers or setting technical direction within a team
