The company is the UK's largest online car-selling platform, connecting private sellers directly with over 8,000 dealers nationwide and backed by £143 million in Series C funding. It is hiring a BI Data Analyst to join its Analytics team and own analytical projects end-to-end, from scoping business problems through to insight delivery. The role involves building and maintaining dashboards and reporting, monitoring KPIs, surfacing trends and anomalies, and using data storytelling to drive measurable business outcomes for stakeholders across Marketing, Finance, Product, Commercial and Operations. The position is based in London with a hybrid schedule of two days a week in the office.

Обязанности

Independently structure business problems into well-defined analytical tasks
Own KPI monitoring and reporting for embedded stakeholder teams, ensuring data accuracy
Root cause and explain data discrepancies in detail and find solutions to stakeholder problems
Build Looker dashboards and Hex notebooks for deep-dive analysis and stakeholder self-serve
Write production-quality SQL and Python following team coding standards and passing peer review
Review AI-generated outputs and act as the human-in-the-loop for accuracy and repeatability
Communicate insights and recommendations clearly as narratives that drive action
Use AI tools to improve workflow while maintaining quality and accuracy
Work with Analytics Engineers to ingest new data sources into the stack

Требования

Proficiency in SQL and Python for production-quality data analysis
Experience building dashboards in Looker and notebooks in Hex
Ability to use AI tools such as LLM-assisted query generation and analysis summarisation
Strong data storytelling and stakeholder communication skills
Experience owning KPI monitoring and reporting for stakeholder teams
Root cause analysis of data discrepancies and problem solving
Ability to independently scope and structure analytical projects end-to-end
Collaboration with Analytics Engineers on data ingestion
