Senior, hands-on C# Software Engineer / Full Stack Developer role at a global financial services company that is rebuilding its international payments platform within the Corporate Payments division. The engineer owns features end-to-end, from API and service design through to frontend delivery and production, using C# .Net on the backend and Vue.js on the frontend. As a senior team member they own architecture and technical decisions within their domain, collaborate with Product, Design and Compliance, and improve reliability, observability, testing and production performance while modernising legacy services. Most work is done from home, with two days a week in the Bracknell office.

Обязанности

Own features end-to-end, from API and service design through to frontend delivery and production
Design and develop scalable backend services and APIs using C# .Net
Build customer facing features across the backend and the Vue.js frontend
Own architecture and technical decisions within the assigned domain
Collaborate closely with Product, Design and Compliance to take features from idea to production
Improve reliability, observability, testing and production performance
Modernise legacy services and contribute to the wider architectural direction

Требования

Strong C# .Net backend development experience
Solid API, system design and distributed systems knowledge
Experience with SQL and relational databases
Good knowledge of frontend development, ideally Vue.js; React experience is also acceptable
Experience with production AWS: CI/CD, SQS, DynamoDB, S3, ECS or Lambda
Good understanding of microservices and event driven architectures
Comfortable taking technical ownership and mentoring other engineers
Experience in payments, financial services or another regulated environment is desirable

Work from home most of the time, joining colleagues in the Bracknell office twice a week
Salary to £85k plus bonus
