Nomad Foods is Europe's leading branded frozen food company, and its Shared Finance function delivers consistent reporting and analytics across the group. The Cluster Analyst supports month-end close, management reporting, KPI and variance analysis for business units and central functions. The role partners with leadership and finance business partners, strengthens data governance and automation, and supports SOX controls and audit requests.

Обязанности

Complete the monthly close of management accounts, including preparation of monthly data reporting packages with KPI analysis, variance analysis and explanations, accruals and journals
Provide weekly calculation and variance analysis of key manufacturing site metrics including production volumes, labour costs, recoveries, fixed costs and transfer prices and their impact on the financial statement
Assimilate data from multiple systems and stakeholders to identify trends for KPIs, actuals, budgets and forecasts
Support the Cluster Accountant with analysis and variance analysis, developing recommendations for leadership and finance business partners
Enhance data governance processes by improving the quality and integrity of data collected, analysis performed and reports generated
Run simulations of various what-if scenarios to evaluate and recommend solutions
Collaborate with the Cluster Accountant to classify and quantify Month End actuals with reliable, accurate, comparable and timely information
Maintain and produce standard quarterly performance analytics and reports for leadership
Facilitate standardisation and sharing of best practice across the Shared Finance team
Contribute to continuous improvement of systems and processes
Support automation and enterprise consolidation of data used in monthly, quarterly and annual performance reports
Prepare and review SOX controls, ensure compliance and support all audit requests

Требования

Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in reporting and forecasting
Previous finance experience within an FMCG business
Experience with ERP systems and reporting technology
Experience with business intelligence tools and developing data visualisations
SAP
Solid database skills required
Very strong analytical and month-end (ME) abilities
Bachelor's degree (desirable)
Part qualified ACCA, ACA, CIMA or international equivalent, expected at finalist stage
Positive attitude, pro-active, growth mindset and problem-solving approach
Attention to detail
Excellent communication and written skills to engage people at all levels internally and externally
Ability to constructively challenge assumptions and thinking
Impactful report writing and presentation skills
