Описание

We are looking for a Lead/Senior Software Engineer to join a pet care platform team, building customer-facing products that connect pet parents with trusted pet care. The role sits in the Barcelona office on a hybrid schedule, with sponsorship and relocation assistance available. The stack centres on React/React Native and Python, with a strong emphasis on automated testing, CI/CD and AI-assisted development. First-year compensation is €62 722–€76 027 plus a long-term incentive plan.

Build customer-facing products that improve people's and pets' lives
Take loose requirements and drive a project forward in collaboration with others
Share knowledge and help foster a culture of learning
Mentor other engineers and raise the quality bar

Требования

7+ years of experience as a professional software developer
Long-term experience with frontend development
Strong and proven knowledge of ReactJs or React Native
Experience with Python or another backend language
Solid knowledge and understanding of relational databases and schema design
Passionate about automated testing, code quality and general software engineering best practices
Experience pushing the boundaries of AI-assisted development: custom workflows, automating repetitive tasks, using AI tools beyond basic code completion
Bonus: professional experience with Django and other Python-based frameworks
Bonus: knowledge of or interest in React Native
Bonus: familiarity with continuous integration/deployment tools
Ability to take loose requirements, collaborate to determine what needs to be done and drive a project forward
Eagerness to improve craft as a software engineer and learn new technologies
Great mentorship skills
Great team player
Meticulous about design and user experience
Used to working with different agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban/XP)
Good level of written and spoken English

Условия

Hybrid format: Mondays and Thursdays in the office in Poblenou, Barcelona
Full-time permanent position
