Описание

The company is building an AI-native data collection layer for field inspectors and other physical-world workers. It is hiring its first Product Designer to own the whole experience: mobile use in harsh conditions, AI-assisted 40-page report creation, and interfaces for querying asset condition data. The role works closely with engineers, the Product Manager and the CTO, five days a week on site.

Обязанности

Go on site with inspectors and test designs in the field
Own the design of every launch down to the empty states
Prototype fast, in code when it helps
Work next to engineers while they build so details come out right
Decide with the Product Manager and CTO which problems are worth solving
Build the design system that lets engineers ship without waiting
Design mobile app interactions for thick gloves, no signal, one hand
Design how AI and inspectors collaborate to produce 40 page reports
Design interfaces for asking questions like which tanks exceeded corrosion limits

Требования

Minimum 3 years designing products that were shipped
Portfolio that shows the messy middle, not just the final screens
Attention to mobile details: touch targets, offline states, errors
Clear opinions on where AI helps and where it gets in the way
Willingness to wear a hard hat to understand a problem
Bonus: designed for industrial or field work, or prototyping in code
