Описание

An intermediate/senior QA Engineer is being hired to join a proactive QA team working on a digital market research product available on Android, iOS and browser extensions. The role covers designing, building and maintaining test automation frameworks, identifying product and technical risks, and improving the overall testing strategy. You will work closely with developers, product managers and DevOps to prevent defects rather than just detect them. The team values collaboration, initiative and continuous quality improvement.

Identify, reproduce, investigate and clearly document defects, including impact, reproduction steps, logs/evidence and technical context in JIRA
Collaborate with developers to drive incidents to resolution and prevent them from recurring
Proactively review manual and automated test coverage and fill any existing gaps
Define automation strategies, frameworks and tools to maximise test coverage and efficiency
Design, develop and maintain robust, scalable and reusable automation scripts for API, UI and integration tests
Analyse and improve QA processes, proposing improvements before they affect product quality
Foster a quality culture from the earliest stages of development
Actively collaborate with product managers, developers, DevOps and other stakeholders across all development phases
Configure and optimise automated test execution pipelines in CI/CD environments for fast feedback and reliable results

Требования

Solid QA knowledge: assess product risks, define suitable testing strategies and design effective test cases
Identify gaps in test coverage and apply exploratory and risk-based testing approaches
Strong defect analysis and troubleshooting: reproduce problems, analyse failures and perform root cause analysis
Communicate defects clearly to developers and drive them to resolution
More than 3 years of QA/testing experience with hands-on test automation
Strong programming or scripting skills in at least one language (Java, Kotlin, TypeScript/JavaScript, etc.)
Hands-on testing of Android and iOS applications on physical devices and emulators/simulators
Test platform-specific scenarios such as permissions and application behaviour under different connectivity conditions
Hands-on web and/or mobile test automation with Playwright, Selenium, Appium or equivalent tools
Good knowledge of API testing, databases and CI/CD, including API validation, basic SQL and automated test integration into pipelines
Good command of Git and standard development workflows
Proactive mindset with initiative and ability to anticipate challenges before they become problems
Ability to lead by example and promote continuous quality improvement
Ability to balance delivery speed with the right level of risk-based testing
Good communication skills and ability to lead cross-team conversations and challenge decisions when needed
Ability to work independently while keeping the team and stakeholders aligned on relevant risks and blockers
Analytical mindset and strong attention to detail
Willingness to learn new techniques and technologies
Conversational English level
