Описание

We are looking for a Quality Engineering Transformation Lead for a pharmaceutical client. The role involves leading QA automation, building test strategies, and mentoring a QA team. It offers long‑term cooperation, technical training and a clear career path.

Обязанности

Take responsibility for transforming the Quality Engineering area and set the direction for test automation development
Refactor and stabilise existing regression automated tests and eliminate flaky tests
Develop and execute a roadmap moving from manual testing to a modern automated testing strategy
Introduce modern Quality Engineering practices and AI tools supporting automation and quality analysis
Build high‑quality test solutions using modern frameworks and good programming practices
Support the team through code reviews, mentoring and pair programming, raising code standards
Collaborate with stakeholders and manage priorities to focus the team on high‑value business activities
Participate in improving CI/CD processes and raising overall software development quality
Act as a technical expert and change leader, fostering a culture of automation and modern testing

Требования

Several years of experience in automated testing and Quality Engineering, thinking like a Software Developer
Strong knowledge of programming concepts such as OOP, data structures and Clean Code
Hands‑on experience with modern automation frameworks like Playwright, Cypress, Selenium or Appium
Ability to program in at least one language: TypeScript, Python or Java
Experience building, maintaining and optimizing automated tests in CI/CD pipelines
Capability to diagnose flaky tests and improve their reliability
Experience creating test automation strategy and roadmap
Familiarity with AI‑supported testing solutions such as test generation or self‑healing tests
Experience leading a QA team and mentoring engineers through code reviews and pair programming
Effective collaboration with stakeholders, prioritising work and protecting the team from overload
