Описание

Bunge is hiring a Senior Cloud Engineer to join its global Data Platform team, based in Sant Just Desvern, Spain. The role focuses on designing, implementing and integrating cloud solutions on Google Cloud Platform, with strong emphasis on Terraform Infrastructure-as-Code, CI/CD pipelines, observability and Kubernetes. The engineer works with a multidisciplinary Agile team to build data platform foundations, pipelines and analytics/ML solutions with global scope. The position follows a hybrid work model combining office and remote work.

Обязанности

Consult and work with the Bunge Data Platform team toward continuous improvement and enabling the creation of Data Platform foundations, new data products and platform capabilities
Collaborate with the Cloud CoE, DevOps CoE, Data Engineers and Data Scientists to build well-architected automated solutions such as CI/CD, data pipelines, data quality, observability tools or deployment infrastructure using Google Cloud Platform
Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code templates using Terraform to provision resources, manage configurations and ensure consistency across cloud use cases
Lead efforts to architect and maintain Bunge Cloud Platform configurations including ingestion pipelines, lake-house architecture and observability tools, ensuring secure integration with company applications
Design and implement platform PKI and observability dashboards using cloud native tools and ensure the highest availability of the Data Platform using DRS and backup plans
Stay up-to-date with emerging cloud technologies and DevOps practices and provide recommendations for continuous improvement
Mentor and coach other DevOps and Cloud Engineers on automations and cloud standards and practices
Foster a culture of sharing, re-use, design for scale and stability, and a Platform Engineering mindset

Требования

Post graduate degree in a STEM field with 5 years of experience as DevOps or Data Engineer
At least 5 years of proven hands-on DevOps engineer experience with major public cloud services, including GCP services such as Compute Engine, GKE, BigQuery, Cloud Run and Cloud Composer/workflow
At least 2 years of experience creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
Demonstrable Terraform Infrastructure-as-Code experience building cloud automation
Demonstrable experience managing large cloud solutions using GCP, AWS or Azure
Experience using AI tools in managing cloud resources and developing CI/CD pipelines
Have implemented Kubernetes and Docker (or similar container engine) solutions
Have built large-scale monitoring solutions with Google Cloud Monitoring or other tools such as Datadog, Sentry, Prometheus, Grafana or Splunk
Proven knowledge of Python and any other scripting language such as Bash
Experience building pipelines using Azure DevOps (preferred), GitLab or GitHub suites
Conceptual understanding of data mesh and Lake-house architecture in the cloud
Adaptable and resilient, ready to transform teams and processes in a dynamic global environment
Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to executive staff, business sponsors and technical resources
Experience working on a collaborative Agile product team
