Thales is hiring a Senior Engineering Delivery Manager for the Border & Travel activity within the Identity, Biometrics & Security business line at its Meudon headquarters. The role owns end-to-end engineering delivery: planning, costs, schedules, quality, risks and KPIs, working closely with the Project Design Authority who owns the solution. The position sits at the interface of engineering, project teams, customers and partners on complex, critical systems.

Обязанности

Organize and coordinate engineering teams and Work Package Managers covering systems, software, hardware, IVVQ, integration and specialized expertise
Drive delivery ensuring compliance with architecture, requirements, safety and security constraints and Thales engineering practices
Build and track the engineering delivery plan, steering costs, schedules, quality, risks, issues and KPIs, and report to project and engineering teams
Work with the Project Design Authority to guarantee technical consistency, arbitrate choices and control baseline changes
Unite stakeholders including project teams, Product Management, clients and partners, contribute to requirements analysis, scope control and technical negotiations
Contribute to continuous improvement of engineering practices, lessons learned, offers, estimates and impact studies for solution changes

Требования

Engineering degree, Bac+5 in computer science, systems, IT or equivalent field
10 years or more of experience in technical project management or engineering delivery on complex programs
Solid experience in system life cycle, System Engineering and project management processes
Experience with IVVQ, integration and validation of complex systems, ideally in software-intensive or critical environments
Experience leading multidisciplinary and international teams, work packages, budgets, schedules, risks and performance indicators
Ability to arbitrate between technical stakes, costs, deadlines, quality and operational performance
Proficiency with collaborative tools such as Jira, Confluence and planning/reporting tools
Leadership, influence and excellent communication with technical, client and senior-level stakeholders
Experience in border control, biometrics, digital identity, security or large-scale operational systems is a plus
