A fast-growing European technology company is hiring a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to build an AI-powered workforce platform for the healthcare sector. Its multi-sided marketplace connects hospitals and care organizations with verified nurses, assistants, and doctors, with AI already embedded into shift matching, support automation, and candidate interactions. The role is a hands-on senior position with end-to-end ownership across frontend, backend, databases, and cloud infrastructure within a small, founder-led team. The position is based in Barcelona, Spain, with the exact on-site versus hybrid working pattern still being confirmed.

Обязанности

Design, build, deploy, and operate production web applications end to end
Work across frontend, backend, databases, cloud infrastructure, and product workflows
Build modern user experiences using TypeScript and React or comparable frontend technologies
Develop backend services using Java, Kotlin, Python, Go, or related technologies
Design robust SQL schemas for complex, real-time operational workflows
Deploy and operate applications in AWS or GCP environments
Use AI coding assistants as part of the daily software-development workflow while maintaining strong review and verification practices
Collaborate directly with product, design, operations, and customer-facing teams
Take ownership of technical outcomes from initial problem definition through production operation
Build secure and reliable systems handling sensitive healthcare-related information

Требования

5+ years of professional software engineering experience
Demonstrated ownership of production web applications from frontend through backend and deployment
Strong TypeScript experience and hands-on knowledge of a modern frontend framework, preferably React
Professional experience with at least one backend language such as Java, Kotlin, Python, or Go
Strong SQL knowledge and experience designing schemas for complex application workflows
Experience deploying and operating production applications on AWS or GCP
Daily, practical use of AI coding assistants
Ability to critically evaluate and verify AI-generated code rather than accepting output blindly
Strong product mindset and ability to operate with a high level of autonomy

Условия

Base salary between €60,000 and €90,000 gross annually
Early-stage equity participation
Position based in Barcelona, Spain
