Описание

Caspar Health builds digital rehabilitation products that let patients continue their therapy beyond the clinic and help therapists support them more efficiently. As a Senior Fullstack Engineer in the Healthcare Professionals Squad, you will build and improve the interface therapists use to manage their daily work across a Ruby on Rails backend and a React and TypeScript frontend. You will work with Product and Design in a cross-functional team of four engineers and a UX/UI Designer, taking solutions from an initial problem through to production and shaping architecture, reliability and maintainability.

Обязанности

Learn the workflows supported by the therapist interface and ship first improvements during the first three months
Take ownership of larger full-stack features from shaping requirements to implementation, testing, release and iteration
Build and improve features across the Ruby on Rails backend and the React and TypeScript frontend
Make technical implementation decisions about code structure, testing approaches and incremental refactoring
Break down and deliver work within agreed priorities and engineering standards
Lead technical recommendations for changes affecting shared architecture, other teams or delivery commitments
Improve the therapist experience and the reliability and maintainability of the underlying software

Требования

Several years of experience building and operating web applications in production
Strong experience with Ruby on Rails and experience with React and modern TypeScript
Strong understanding of relational databases (PostgreSQL), APIs and testing
Ability to navigate ambiguous requirements and make sound technical trade-offs
Product mindset focused on understanding the intended outcome rather than treating implementation as an isolated task
Judgement and independence to take work from an initial problem through to a production result
Professional working proficiency in English
