Описание

Zego is an insurance company building real-time, AI-driven infrastructure for innovative insurance products, and it is hiring a Senior iOS Engineer. The role focuses on shaping the architecture of the iOS platform, building a native mobile SDK and setting technical direction and engineering standards. Work follows the Zego Hybrid model with a central London office, and the package includes share options, private medical insurance and an annual performance bonus.

Обязанности

Shape the architecture of the iOS platform so it stays secure, fast and maintainable as the product grows
Deliver a consumer app experience that leads the market for managing policies and understanding driving
Build and evolve the native mobile SDK that collects the data behind every driver score
Set technical direction and engineering standards that teams beyond your own follow
Raise the quality bar through code reviews, design docs and tech talks so knowledge spreads
Partner with Product Managers to launch features that customers actually use

Требования

Around 6+ years of experience building iOS applications, with shipped work you can point to and explain
Solid understanding of software architecture, design patterns and the trade-offs behind them
Experience building SDKs that are scalable, performant and genuinely usable by third-party developers
Building iOS applications that hold up under real scale, security and performance pressure
Clear communication with Product and other engineers, explaining technical decisions people can act on
Working AI-first and using AI daily, arriving curious and taking ownership of getting good quickly
