Wooga, part of Playtika and a global leader in Hidden Object Games, is hiring a Senior UI/UX Designer for its New Games team on a 1-year fixed-term contract. The role covers the full UX process for early-stage casual F2P mobile games, from concept validation and prototyping to UI production, style guides and design systems. You will work closely with artists, game designers, product managers and engineers, reporting to the Creative Director of New Games. Location is Berlin with relocation preferred, though remote applications are considered.

Design and create UI screens, icons, flows, buttons and game components for early-stage casual F2P mobile games
Maintain and evolve UI style guides and design systems for consistency across screens and features
Own UX for new game prototypes and make mechanics intuitive and easy to onboard
Translate game design and monetization requirements into clear, player-friendly interfaces
Collaborate closely with artists, game designers, product managers and engineers
Work independently to scope, prioritize and own delivery of work
Report directly to the Creative Director of New Games

Требования

Prior experience in the mobile gaming industry
Strong UI design and execution skills with sharp UX instincts
Ability to switch between concept-stage UX validation and UI production
Solid grasp of onboarding, retention, and monetization-friendly design patterns
2D art skills for UI execution: icons, popups, liveops screens and supporting visual elements
A portfolio demonstrating range across UI production, UX validation and supporting art
Ability to work autonomously and drive ambiguous problems to resolution
Excellent communication skills to explain decisions to cross-disciplinary stakeholders
Proficiency with standard design tools such as Figma, Photoshop or equivalent
Unity for implementation and testing
Comfort working in a small team, prototyping and wearing multiple hats

Условия

1-year fixed-term contract
Location to Berlin is preferred, remote applications are also considered
Working hours follow standard Berlin times (roughly 9 to 18)
Hybrid work model: office presence twice a week, three days flexible
