Description

Automation Assurance Specialist role at Capgemini Invent, focusing on ensuring reliability and quality of technical solutions. Responsibilities include comprehensive testing across accessibility, performance, security, and functional validation, with a strong emphasis on automation and continuous integration.

Responsibilities

Undertake cross-functional engineering projects, working in small teams with other engineers
Be part of a community of engineers, working on large scale, technically challenging projects
Take personal responsibility for assuring confidence in the technical delivery
Continually improve teams’ processes, practices, tools, and techniques
Share knowledge and experience, coach and mentor colleagues
Encourage innovation, inclusion, teamwork, self-organisation, and diversity
Work with clients and internal teams to develop new opportunities and open-source projects

Requirements

Certified ISTQB background; ISTQB Foundation at a minimum
Experience with core testing techniques: Exploratory, Integration, Manual, Functional
Experience setting up and contributing to test frameworks in Java or JavaScript
Experience writing a variety of backend and frontend automated tests using Selenium, Playwright, Cucumber, REST etc.
Experience working in an Agile environment
Experience using online version control tools - GitHub, GitLab etc.
Experience with self-managing and being able to self-identify areas that needs work
