Description

getpress is building its own AI‑agent platform (using LangGraph, PostgreSQL, Next.js) for the public relations industry. The company, one of the fastest‑growing PR agencies in Germany, aims to transform the PR market with AI‑driven services. As a Backend Engineer you will own the technical foundation of the platform, develop backend systems and contribute to AI‑agent components.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain the full‑stack PR platform backend
Design and implement AI‑agent components, including memory and orchestration
Contribute to system architecture, data models and API design
Improve database architecture for relational and vector data stores
Collaborate with product management and AI team to define technical direction

Requirements

Minimum 3 years of professional software development experience
Proficient in TypeScript, Python, PostgreSQL and Docker
Experience with backend frameworks such as FastAPI, SpringBoot or NestJS
Hands‑on knowledge of container‑based and cloud‑native architectures (Kubernetes, AWS)
German language proficiency at B2 level or higher

Conditions

Remote work allowed, but candidate must reside in Germany
Flexible schedule with autonomy over daily tasks
Direct collaboration with management and ownership of technical standards
German language proficiency required for internal communication
