Description
A civil-society organization in Catalonia is looking for a Communication Technician to join the team and lead its communication strategy and the visibility of the neighborhood movement and its social projects. The role spans corporate identity, press office management, digital and social media content, graphic design and audiovisual production. Responsibilities also include communication support for events, assemblies and press conferences, both in person and online. This is a full-time, permanent position based in Barcelona with a gross annual salary of €24,001–30,000.
Responsibilities
Design and execute the entity's Communication Plan and that of its community projects
Define and monitor communication indicators and prepare the entity's Annual Report
Detect communication opportunities, strategic alliances and new dissemination channels
Ensure the coherence of the entity's corporate image
Manage the press office, including writing press releases, attending journalists, convening and media monitoring
Create content and manage the website, social media (X, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube) and newsletters
Design graphic materials such as posters, infographics and reports, and edit corporate audiovisual content
Provide communication support for events, assemblies, press conferences, conferences and seminars, in person and online
Facilitate and improve direct communication channels with federations and neighborhood associations
Requirements
Excellent level of Catalan (C1) and Spanish, both written and spoken
Good level of English (B2/C1)
Proficiency in design and editing tools such as Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere or DaVinci
Advanced use of WordPress, e-mailing tools, collaborative work platforms and social media management
Knowledge of the associative fabric of Catalonia, specifically the neighborhood movement
Experience in communication of projects financed with public or European funds
Minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant professional experience
University degree at Licenciado level
