Description
Infront is one of Europe's leading providers of market data and financial software. They are seeking a Content Analyst to join the Madrid office and build an analytical layer for financial data — understanding sourcing, structure, quality, licensing and economics of data used across their product suite. This is a distinct analytical role, not content administration, focused on working with business analysts and responding to internal data needs including requests from Sales.

Responsibilities
Identify and evaluate relevant public data sources and define integration paths (XBRL/EDGAR, DTCC/Dodd-Frank data, prospectuses, term sheets, annual reports)
Analyse vendor coverage, quality, licensing and cost; optimise the overall data-provider setup
Analyse potential partnerships in the content area: Clarity, S&P, Nordea, Stockpulse
Maintain deep expertise in financial instruments, financial data models and canonical data schemas
Identify and analyse internal data-quality, coverage and consistency problems
Define data-quality rules, validation logic and enrichment requirements
Identify strategic data gaps and recommend build / source publicly / partner / buy decisions
Own the Data Catalogue including definitions, lineage, sources, coverage, quality and availability
Work closely with Business Analysts on translating market and client requirements into concrete data requirements
Requirements
At least 2 years of relevant experience working with data, preferably financial data
Understanding of financial-data concepts or willingness to quickly build that knowledge
Technical affinity and comfort working with data-related tools and technology
Experience with Python, MATLAB, R, VBA or Excel is preferred; low-code experimentation is also valuable
Interest in using AI-driven approaches in data work
Ability to translate business questions into data analysis quickly
Familiarity with bond reference data, regulatory data delivery, EDGAR, DTCC or XML schemas
Conditions
Full-time unlimited contract
