Description
A fast-growing healthtech scale-up is building an all-in-one healthcare platform that brings together world-leading medical expertise and technical excellence. The company is looking for a Data Analyst to join its growing Data team and help drive smarter, data-informed decisions across the organisation. This is a high-impact role where the insights surfaced and the dashboards built directly influence how teams operate and how well patients are supported.
Responsibilities
Conduct ad-hoc analyses to answer business questions from stakeholders across Operations, Finance, Clinical and Programme teams
Identify trends, patterns and anomalies in operational and clinical data that impact service delivery and patient outcomes
Present findings in clear, compelling ways that drive decision-making across the organisation
Design and build dashboards in Looker that track key metrics from programme delivery KPIs to financial performance
Develop automated reports that keep stakeholders informed without requiring manual updates
Ensure dashboards are accurate, performant and easy to navigate for end users
Write clear, optimised SQL to query and manipulate data reliably
Collaborate with the Data Engineering team on data modelling, dbt transformations and data governance
Identify and escalate data quality issues and help ensure consistency across systems
Help define and track metrics, ensuring every KPI is well understood and correctly calculated
Work closely with stakeholders across Operations, Clinical, Finance and Programme Delivery to understand their data needs
Communicate complex data concepts in a way that is accessible to non-technical stakeholders
Help drive adoption of data-driven thinking and self-serve analytics across the organisation
Requirements
At least 2-4 years of experience in a data analyst, business analyst or similar analytics role
Proficiency in SQL: writing queries to explore, filter, join and aggregate data reliably
Experience with at least one BI or visualisation tool such as Looker, Tableau or Power BI
Familiarity with modern data stacks and tools such as BigQuery, Snowflake, PostgreSQL or dbt
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an eye for detail
Excellent communication skills, able to explain complex findings clearly to diverse audiences
Ability to design dashboards that are intuitive and actionable
Curiosity and self-drive to explore datasets and answer difficult questions
Collaboration with both technical and non-technical stakeholders with end-to-end ownership
Degree in a quantitative subject such as Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or Economics
Experience in healthcare, public health or regulated industries
Exposure to Python or R for data analysis and statistical work
Familiarity with dbt or other data transformation frameworks
