Description
Nightingale Hammerson, a UK charity providing care home services for 185 years, is building a brand new marketing function. The Digital Marketing Manager will own digital strategy across web, SEO, CRM, social media, and content to drive acquisition, brand awareness, and community engagement targeting the UK Jewish community. This is a newly created role reporting to the Head of Marketing with line management responsibility and oversight of agencies and freelancers.
Responsibilities
Develop strategy to create new digital opportunities
Enhance brand and optimise UX and conversion across digital footprint
Digital lead generation and campaigns
Web management, development and SEO
CRM and data management
Manage and activate social channels
Grow, nurture and engage digital communities
Digital content strategy, calendar management and content creation
Report on performance and drive actionable insights from data
Line management including mentoring and developing direct reports
Source and manage agencies, suppliers and freelancers
Support other departments such as Resident Services, Care, Finance and Fundraising with digital marketing
Requirements
Relevant Digital Marketing experience in the UK consumer market with prior Digital Marketing Manager experience
Proven success targeting and converting niche consumer audiences through digital campaigns
Proven success optimising full digital ecosystems for visibility and conversions including owned channels, referral partners and review sites
Website development and management experience
Demonstrable achievements driving acquisition from organic SEO and paid search
Skilled at managing and optimising CRM systems with automations and customisation
Experience delivering direct response and brand building results via social media
Skilled at content creation for search, UX and CRO, both in-house and managing agencies
Good knowledge of GDPR and applying it
Fluency in English with potent copywriting ability
Experience managing one or more direct reports
