Description

Lead and manage all engineering and maintenance activities at a manufacturing plant in Dubai to ensure uninterrupted production, optimal equipment performance, and compliance with safety standards. Responsibilities include maintenance management, technical support, continuous improvement, budget control, and team leadership in a 24/7 production environment.

Responsibilities

Lead preventive and corrective maintenance programs for plant equipment
Ensure maximum equipment uptime and operational efficiency
Analyze breakdowns and implement corrective and preventive actions
Monitor maintenance KPIs such as downtime, MTTR, reliability trends
Maintain engineering standards, documentation, and equipment history
Provide technical support to Production to resolve operational issues
Coordinate engineering activities with production and other departments
Identify and implement improvements in equipment and processes
Manage spare parts procurement and inventory optimization
Prepare and manage engineering and maintenance budgets
Plan and execute plant projects, upgrades, and shutdown activities
Ensure compliance with corporate and local safety regulations
Lead, coach, and develop engineering and maintenance teams

Requirements

Minimum 8-10 years’ experience in engineering/maintenance in manufacturing
Minimum 3-5 years in managerial role
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical/electrical/industrial engineering
Preventive & predictive maintenance management
Equipment reliability and troubleshooting
Budgeting and cost control
Project management and CAPEX planning
Spare parts and inventory optimization
Knowledge of manufacturing systems and automation
Strong leadership and team development capabilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Conditions
