Description

A PropTech start-up building a cloud-based cost-management platform for the real estate industry. The company is looking for a Full Stack Developer with around three years of professional experience to work on React/TypeScript solutions and Node.js/TypeScript services. The role covers building responsive frontend features and type-safe APIs, containerizing services with Docker, and collaborating with .NET, frontend and DevOps engineers. Work is based in Berlin with flexible remote and home-office options.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain responsive, modern web application features using React and TypeScript
Implement reusable, well-tested UI components
Work with modern data-fetching and state-management approaches to build fast, reliable interfaces
Collaborate closely with designers and product owners to turn requirements into polished features
Build and consume typesafe APIs (REST and/or GraphQL) that connect frontend and backend services
Contribute to backend and middleware services in the Node.js/TypeScript stack
Work with relational and/or NoSQL databases to design efficient, well-structured data models
Write and maintain automated tests (unit and integration) to keep the codebase reliable
Containerize and deploy services with Docker
Work within CI/CD pipelines to ship features safely and frequently
Collaborate with the DevOps team on Azure-based deployments and monitoring
Contribute to the ongoing shift toward a modern, service-oriented architecture
Work in a cross-functional team alongside backend (.NET), frontend and DevOps engineers
Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions and technical planning
Continuously help improve code quality, documentation and development workflows

Requirements

Around 3 years of professional experience as a Full Stack Developer
Strong hands-on experience with React and TypeScript/JavaScript
Experience building and consuming APIs (REST and/or GraphQL)
Familiarity with Node.js for backend or middleware development
Experience with Docker and modern CI/CD workflows
Good understanding of Git-based workflows
Good command of English
Experience with typesafe API layers such as tRPC as a plus
Familiarity with cloud platforms, ideally Microsoft Azure
Exposure to testing frameworks as a plus
Experience with relational or NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL or MongoDB
Curiosity and willingness to explore new tools and patterns
Solution-oriented, pragmatic approach to problem-solving
Comfortable working independently within a cross-functional team
