Description
Grundon Waste Management, the UK's largest family-owned supplier of integrated waste management, is seeking a Graphic Designer to join their Marketing team in Colnbrook. The role involves delivering creative, high-impact design solutions across a wide range of channels and media, supporting the brand manager and collaborating with internal and external teams to strengthen brand awareness and drive business growth.
Responsibilities
Champion the Grundon brand, ensuring it’s consistently and effectively brought to life across everything we do, while actively protecting, promoting and enhancing our visual identity
Collaborate with internal and external customers to understand their objectives, challenge briefs where needed, and take projects from initial concept through to outstanding final execution
Use your creativity and imagination to develop innovative concepts for projects, campaigns and communications that capture attention and deliver results
Produce a diverse range of high-quality artwork, from corporate literature, posters and booklets to bid documents, presentations and everything in between
Be proactive, spot opportunities and take the initiative to develop new projects that support our wider business priorities
Work closely with our Marketing team and a talented network of external partners, including printers, copywriters, photographers, designers and marketing specialists
Work with a range of media, e.g. photography and videography whilst keeping up to date with design trends and of emerging technologies
Coordinate everything from print production and stock control to supplier relationships, quotes and orders, ensuring our materials are always looking their best
Maintain and develop Grundon’s photographic library, making sure our imagery is fresh, relevant and ready to use
Requirements
Degree in Graphic Design or a related discipline, or proven experience in a similar role
Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign and Acrobat
Experience creating designs across both digital and print media, with a good understanding of print production processes
Video editing skills using Premiere Pro and/or After Effects would be advantageous
Excellent project management, organisation and prioritisation skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Creative flair, strong visual awareness and exceptional attention to detail, ensuring high-quality design output
Confident communicator with the ability to present ideas, understand stakeholder requirements and work collaboratively across teams
Proactive, adaptable and self-motivated, with good IT skills
A full UK driving licence
Knowledge of waste management, aggregates or related sectors would be beneficial, however not essential
