Description

Smadex is a leading European ad-tech company (DSP) based in Barcelona, founded in 2010 and acquired by Entravision (NYSE: EVC) in 2018. With revenues over $100M and 100% YoY growth, Smadex is one of the top mobile ad-tech companies worldwide. The company is looking for a Growth Data Scientist to work closely with internal and external teams to help advertisers achieve business goals and improve Smadex Ads effectiveness through deep data analysis and actionable insights.

Responsibilities

Dive deep into complex datasets covering behavior of millions of users and apps worldwide to extract actionable learnings for high-level strategy
Partner with business and technical teams to drive rigorous analysis and testing to maximize performance and effectiveness of Smadex campaigns
Collaborate with stakeholders to channel market insights and performance data into the roadmap, directly influencing Product and ML strategies

Requirements

+3 years of experience as a Data Analyst or Data Scientist
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a Quantitative Field (Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Sciences)
Strong problem-solving skills, ability to formulate questions, run analysis and articulate a recommendation
Proven working knowledge of Python, SQL and large data sets
Understanding of analytic methodologies for data evaluation
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to present analysis and conclusions
Strong knowledge and experience of statistical concepts and hypothesis testing
Knowledge of the ad-tech industry is a plus
