Description

The IT Quality Automation Tester is an entry-level role within the Technology Quality team, supporting quality assurance work under the guidance of senior colleagues. The position covers User Acceptance Testing and production rollout support, automated test development, and the use of AI-powered testing tools. It requires 2-4 years of QA experience plus familiarity with automation frameworks and scripting languages, along with strong analytical and communication skills. The role is based in Warsaw and offers a hybrid working model with pension, medical care, and paid parental leave benefits.

Responsibilities

Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and ensure a smooth product release into production under the guidance of senior team members
Assist in designing, developing, executing and maintaining automated test scripts and frameworks to reduce manual testing efforts
Learn and utilize AI-powered testing tools to enhance test creation, execution and defect detection
Participate in process monitoring and product evaluations to identify issues and report findings
Follow established SDLC standards and procedures and help maintain clear documentation and traceability for testing activities
Document test findings, assist in root cause analysis using test data and track corrective actions to completion
Assist in generating quality metrics reports and provide data to support risk assessment and governance processes

Requirements

2–4 years of Quality Assurance experience, with an interest in the Financial Services industry
Experience with automation frameworks such as Selenium and Playwright
Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Java or JavaScript
Ability to assist in designing, developing and maintaining automated tests
Interest in or familiarity with AI-powered testing tools such as self-healing tests, AI-based test generation and visual testing
Good understanding of QA principles and practices across the Software Development Lifecycle
Ability to review requirements and identify discrepancies with guidance
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Clear written and verbal communication skills and ability to meet deadlines
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
