Description

Box is the leader in Intelligent Content Management, providing a platform for content collaboration and workflow automation. The Automate team is developing an intelligent automation engine to help users automate business processes without code. As a Software Engineer, you will design and develop full-stack solutions using Java and React to handle millions of workflow executions daily, impacting how customers streamline critical business processes.

Responsibilities

Design and implement full-stack features in Java and React
Develop and optimize backend services for workflow automation
Build responsive user interfaces in React
Collaborate with cross-functional teams
Participate in code reviews and mentor junior engineers
Handle on-call rotation and attend team meetings

Requirements

3+ years of professional software development experience
Strong proficiency in Java and React/TypeScript
Experience with scalable backend systems and database design
Cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
Fluent English proficiency

Conditions

Hybrid work format with minimum 3 days in office
On-call rotation
Agile management with Scrum
Use of Jira and GitHub Enterprise for tracking and code reviews
