Description

We’re looking for a junior graphic designer with a creative and imaginative approach and a strong eye for detail to help create beautiful, bespoke travel albums and printed books. The work is highly visual and photography‑led, with an emphasis on thoughtful, original layouts, typography and visual storytelling.

Responsibilities

Create bespoke layouts for travel albums and printed books
Develop visual narratives by collaborating with photography
Refine layouts and details to achieve high‑quality finish
Prepare artwork and files ready for print production
Design and send newsletters and invitations
Edit and retouch photos to match design standards
Maintain flexibility in working hours to meet project deadlines

Requirements

Strong eye for detail and visual storytelling
Experience creating bespoke layouts for travel albums
Proficiency with Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator
Knowledge of Microsoft Office and photo retouching
Ability to proofread and ensure high‑quality output
Familiarity with email marketing platforms such as Mailchimp
Understanding of basic website maintenance, e.g., Shopify

Conditions

Freelance contract with hourly rate £15‑£20
Mid‑week schedule, two days per week on‑site in London
Flexitime allowing adjustment of working hours
Opportunity to relocate to London before starting work
Remote work possible for remaining days of the week
