Description

The platform/DevOps engineer works on a state-of-the-art data platform for police operations, ensuring software availability and reliability. The role involves collaboration with developers, data scientists, and specialists to solve complex operational issues and support data-driven investigations.

Responsibilities

Work on state-of-the-art software for providing information for police work
Ensure software up and running and collaborate with operational software developers
Facilitate and support the generic availability of software solutions in operations
Automate tasks as a starting point
Contribute to the transition to more data-driven work

Requirements

HBO (bachelor) working and thinking level, preferably with a technical specialization
Experience with Linux and Windows Server and configuration management tools like Ansible and Terraform
Experience with automating through GitLab CI/CD pipelines and GitOps
Experience with Grafana observability stack, secret management like Hashicorp Vault, and container orchestration like Kubernetes
Preferred knowledge of relational databases like PostgreSQL and MySQL
Driver's license B

Conditions

36 hours per week
Gross monthly salary between €4511 and €6619
Individual Choice Budget (IKB) of 17.86% of salary
Net part of IKB €515.91 per year
Excellent pension at ABP
