Description

iLovePDF is a SaaS company focused on document productivity, with PDF tools used by over 90 million users monthly across web, mobile and desktop. The company is looking for a Mid-Senior Product Designer with a strong UI focus to join its design team. The role centres on creating polished, high-quality final designs while applying UX, accessibility and Design System knowledge across platforms. The position is hybrid in Barcelona with a permanent contract.

Responsibilities

Drive UI design and visual execution, translating product and user needs into polished, intuitive final designs
Work closely with Designers, Business and Development teams from early concepts to final resolution
Test and validate design solutions before the final design using prototypes, feedback and user insights
Create high-fidelity prototypes and interactive flows in Figma
Contribute to the evolution and application of the Design System for consistency and scalability
Apply UX principles, accessibility best practices and responsive design across Web, Desktop and Mobile
Work closely with the development team, understanding technical constraints and ensuring feasible designs
Rely on user insights, feedback and data to inform UI and interaction design decisions
Propose continuous improvements to products, design processes and ways of working
Explore and use AI tools and workflows to improve efficiency and design quality

Requirements

At least 4 years of experience at a product-driven tech company with focus on digital products and high-quality interfaces
Strong foundation in visual and UI design, background in graphic design, interaction design or a related discipline
Portfolio showing high-quality UI and visual design across desktop and mobile
Excellent communication, collaboration and creative problem-solving skills
Advanced knowledge of Figma: auto-layout, variants, constraints, prototyping, components and design libraries
Experience working with Design Systems and applying components, patterns and guidelines consistently
Knowledge of accessibility and responsive design principles
Experience collaborating closely with engineering teams
Strong analytical and organisational skills with high attention to detail and eye for visual quality
Fluent in Spanish and English
EU citizenship or a valid work permit to work in Spain
Nice to have: HTML/CSS and front-end principles
Nice to have: basic knowledge of Storybook and Zeroheight
Nice to have: knowledge of AI and a wide variety of resources
Nice to have: interest in Design Ops
