Description

Abacum provides a leading business planning solution for finance teams, automating reporting and simplifying forecasting. The Professional Services Manager will own end‑to‑end delivery of implementation projects, working closely with sales, product, and support teams. The role combines client advisory, project governance, and mentorship of junior consultants.

Responsibilities

Own end‑to‑end delivery of implementation projects from kickoff to value realization
Partner with sales during pre‑sale scoping, effort sizing and SOW presentation
Build project documentation, sprint plans, budgets and resource allocations
Manage implementations with both direct customers and partner delivery teams, ensuring consistent quality
Oversee scope, risk and change control using governance processes
Advise client stakeholders on process and organizational changes to maximize platform value
Coordinate with product, support, customer success and delivery partners for a seamless client experience
Contribute to delivery methodology by developing AI tools, templates and sprint cadences
Mentor junior delivery team members and partner‑side consultants on standards

Requirements

Minimum 4 years of hands‑on experience implementing financial planning or EPM platforms
Proven ability to scope pre‑sale projects and present statements of work to clients
Experience managing implementations delivered through third‑party partners or resellers
Working knowledge of FP&A processes such as budgeting, forecasting and reporting
Track record of managing multi‑stakeholder, multi‑workstream projects with technical and change‑management components
Ability to critically review scope documents and identify risks early
Proficiency with SaaS project tools and Agile or hybrid methodologies
Excellent client‑facing communication and influencing senior finance stakeholders
