Description

Amazon is hiring a Project Engineering Manager to drive innovation and deployment in the AMZL network, managing complex projects, leading teams, and ensuring successful launches in delivery stations.

Responsibilities

Managing highly complex concurrent projects related to the deployment of engineering solutions in delivery stations of MEU Amazon Logistics network
Owning a program or a portfolio of projects related to launches or retrofits of different technology types including Automation or MHE
Leading the whole project/program lifecycle from concept and budgeting creation to handover at completion to relevant stakeholders
Handling independently or with minimal guidance different tactical phases of the projects/program, dealing with constraints related to resource allocation and timelines
Interacting with Senior level management across different functions to provide trade off solutions
Identifying inefficiencies of processes or standards and proactively leading improvements with relevant teams

Requirements

Bachelor's degree
Experience in planning, scheduling and auditing maintenance activities
Experience working with CMMS software
Experience working with Material handling equipment (MHE)
Willingness to travel up to 30-50% of the time if required
Knowledge of AutoCAD, VBA, and SQL at the intermediate level is preferred
Experience working with and managing third party vendors is preferred
