Description

A product company building an e-commerce platform is looking for a QA Engineer to safeguard the stability and functionality of its web application. The role covers analyzing and clarifying requirements, designing test plans and documentation, executing functional and non-functional testing, and writing clear bug reports. You will collaborate closely with developers, other QA testers, and stakeholders to deliver a smooth experience for thousands of businesses and their customers.

Responsibilities

Analyze, test, and clarify software requirements for a comprehensive understanding
Design and develop test plans and documentation to guide the testing process
Execute functional and non-functional testing across the web application in the e-commerce domain
Create clear and concise bug reports for efficient resolution by the development team
Collaborate with developers, other QA testers, and stakeholders and participate in meetings

Requirements

2+ years of practical experience in testing web applications and APIs
Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies
In-depth knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and best practices
Proficiency in test design techniques and their proper application
Familiarity with client-server architecture
Hands-on experience with DevTools and SQL
Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills with a critical thinking approach
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively
B1 level English proficiency
Preferred: basic understanding of JavaScript
Preferred: experience developing automated tests using Postman or Cypress
