Description

We are looking for a senior IT Release Manager to lead and orchestrate releases of a strategic Fund Administration platform for a large financial services player. The role involves coordinating Agile, DevOps, QA, Architecture and Production teams to ensure reliable, secure and fast deployments during a modernization and cloud migration.

Responsibilities

Construct and manage the release schedule across sprints, major releases and hotfixes
Coordinate dependencies between squads and facilitate release planning and retrospectives
Pilot and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitLab CI
Support deployments in legacy and cloud migration contexts
Implement quality and security gates, ensuring test automation coverage
Manage release risks including regressions, downtime and non‑compliance
Produce release documentation such as release notes, runbooks and post‑mortems
Track delivery KPIs like lead time, change failure rate, MTTR and test coverage

Requirements

Minimum 8 years of experience in release management or IT project management
Proven expertise in building and piloting release schedules, including sprints, major releases and hotfixes
Strong knowledge of Agile and DevOps methodologies
Hands‑on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and GitLab CI
Ability to ensure test automation, security gates and compliance in releases
Experience with cloud migration and legacy system environments
Fluent English required for communication and documentation
Understanding of regulatory constraints like GDPR and MiFID II
