Description
You will help build and evolve Hubject's cloud‑native eMobility platform, working across backend, frontend and cloud infrastructure. The role involves designing, developing and operating scalable, secure applications that power electric mobility worldwide. You will collaborate with product, architecture, QA and DevOps teams to deliver reliable software and improve engineering practices.
Responsibilities
Design, develop and maintain scalable full‑stack applications using Java, Spring Boot, Angular and TypeScript
Build secure REST APIs and responsive user interfaces following clean code best practices
Develop and operate cloud‑native applications on AWS with Docker, Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines
Ensure high software quality through automated testing, code reviews and performance optimization
Collaborate closely with product owners, designers, QA, architects and DevOps throughout the software development lifecycle
Troubleshoot, analyze and resolve complex technical issues to improve reliability, scalability and security
Mentor other engineers and contribute to establishing engineering best practices across the team
Requirements
Several years of experience developing full‑stack applications with Java, Spring Boot, Angular and TypeScript
Strong understanding of microservices, REST APIs, distributed systems and modern software architecture
Hands‑on experience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines and Git in cloud‑native environments
Experience with relational and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, DynamoDB and Redis
Solid knowledge of clean code principles, design patterns, secure development and performance optimization
Excellent problem‑solving skills, ownership mindset and ability to work in cross‑functional Agile teams
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
Conditions
Hybrid work model: 1‑2 days per week in the Berlin office, rest remote within Germany
