Description

Mister Spex is Europe’s leading omnichannel eyewear retailer, developing high‑performance e‑commerce platforms. As a Senior Fullstack Developer you will own complex, business‑critical commerce systems and lead the migration of the web shop to a new platform. The role combines frontend, backend and cloud responsibilities within a fast‑moving, agile environment.

Responsibilities

Independently implement complex tasks in e‑commerce environment with full responsibility for quality and stability
Contribute to migration of web shop to new platform, from technical design to phased decommissioning of legacy solutions
Develop and enhance demanding features in both frontend and backend within a cloud‑based system landscape
Plan tasks proactively, identify risks early and devise suitable solutions
Optimize existing processes and technical solutions by identifying inefficiencies
Share knowledge within the team and support other engineers through code reviews, pair programming and mentoring

Requirements

Several years of experience developing and extending professional digital commerce solutions
Strong practical knowledge of backend technologies Java and Node.js
Proficiency in frontend technologies JavaScript, TypeScript, React (preferably Next.js)
Experience with cloud and platform tools AWS, Kubernetes, Docker
Experience building cloud‑native applications in production environments
Ability to work effectively in agile setups with a structured, autonomous work style
Very good German language skills for discussing technical topics and participating in reviews
