Description

Waracle, a digital technology consultancy, is looking for a Senior QA Engineer to join its multi-disciplinary delivery teams. The role centres on defining quality strategies, building scalable automation frameworks and championing testing best practices across the whole development lifecycle. It is offered on a Contract (Inside IR35) basis, initially for 6 months, with hybrid office locations in London. The emphasis is on collaboration, technical leadership and embedding quality checks into CI/CD from the very start.

Responsibilities

Shaping testing approaches for complex features and embedding risk analysis into the workflow
Guiding exploratory testing efforts
Building and evolving modular, reusable and scalable automation components
Integrating quality checks into CI/CD pipelines
Designing and automating tests for performance, security and accessibility
Participating in peer code reviews to maintain robust automation standards

Requirements

Comprehensive knowledge of QA best practices and methodologies (SDLC, Agile)
Advanced automation skills using Playwright, with the ability to build, extend and maintain scalable testing frameworks
Hands-on experience using C# to interact with and test web applications
Well-rounded experience across functional, non-functional, white-box and security testing
Proactive defect management and strong triage leadership skills
Excellent collaboration skills and ability to explain complex technical ideas simply to teams and clients
Natural curiosity to learn new project domains quickly

Conditions
