Description

Scan Tech General Trading LLC is hiring a QA Engineer to own quality across the EGARAGI platform, covering web, iOS, Android, admin panel, vendor panel, and APIs. The role involves manual and automated testing, defect investigation, and release readiness assessment. Candidates must have professional English proficiency and will work on‑site in Dubai.

Responsibilities

Perform manual and automated testing across web, Android, iOS, admin panel, vendor panel, and APIs
Write and maintain test plans, test cases, test scenarios, and regression suites
Execute functional, regression, smoke, sanity, integration, system, and UAT testing
Conduct full regression testing before each production release and produce release readiness reports
Perform API testing covering authentication, authorization, error responses, pagination, and payload validation using Postman or Swagger
Validate authentication flows, OTP, 2FA, sessions, token expiry, and role‑based access control
Conduct database validation with SQL to ensure displayed data matches stored data
Verify analytics and tracking events in Firebase, GA4, and similar platforms
Test third‑party integrations such as payment and messaging providers, including failure scenarios
Identify basic security and authorization issues and conduct basic performance/load testing
Develop and maintain automated test scripts for regression and critical user journeys
Maintain stability of automation suite and resolve flaky tests
Support test execution within CI/CD pipelines
Test on macOS and Windows browsers (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge) and on multiple iOS and Android devices
Validate builds distributed via TestFlight, Firebase App Distribution, and app stores
Validate Arabic and English localization, including RTL layout and formatting
Manage defects throughout lifecycle in Jira, recording environments and collaborating with product, development, DevOps, and design teams

Requirements

Technical knowledge of web fundamentals including URLs, HTTP methods, status codes, headers, cookies, tokens, and caching
Ability to investigate defects using browser developer tools, device logs, and API responses before reporting
Test design skills covering edge cases, boundary values, role and permission combinations, invalid input, and offline network conditions
Precise defect reporting with steps to reproduce, environment details, severity, priority, screenshots or recordings, and API request/response information
Ability to evaluate UI design quality, identifying spacing, alignment, hierarchy, component mismatches, missing states, low contrast, small tap targets, and breakpoint issues
Experience in manual testing and automation testing of web and mobile applications
Proficiency in API testing using tools such as Postman or Swagger
Database testing skills using SQL to verify data consistency
Basic performance and security testing knowledge
Experience with test automation frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or Appium
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and test execution integration
