Description
Senior Software Engineer position in a Poland-based engineering team building and maintaining an ecosystem of microfrontend modules for career document products such as resume and cover letter builders. The role combines hands-on frontend development with architecture ownership: building client-side rendered React apps, improving a pnpm/Turborepo monorepo, and mentoring teammates. Work happens in two-week sprints with code reviews, CI pipelines and close collaboration with QA, product managers and business stakeholders. The position is fully remote for candidates living in Poland, with optional offices in several Polish cities.
Responsibilities
Build microfrontend apps from the ground up and maintain existing ones embedded within host codebases
Work alongside Lead and Principal Engineers on the monorepo architecture and different deployment styles
Maintain code quality through code reviews and improvements to automated checks
Provide guidance and share knowledge with less experienced colleagues
Occasionally dive into SSR and orchestration-layer backend services when new requirements demand it
Meet with business stakeholders to discuss goals and requirements and analyze designs in Figma
Plan work and set boundaries for responsibilities delegated to other teams
Act as a proxy for other developers, guiding their efforts and resolving blockers
Participate in team rituals and be proactive about problem-solving and communication
Requirements
At least 4 years of experience developing high-availability B2C applications
Deep understanding of, and good intuition for, the CSR TypeScript + React stack
Expertise in frontend best practices: readable, extensible and maintainable code with performance-aware decisions
Experience using the libraries and tools listed in the vacancy (React 18, Redux Toolkit, Zustand, Vite, pnpm, Turborepo, Stylelint)
Ability to model and reason about multi-purpose monorepo codebases and make architectural decisions
Experience debugging both static and runtime issues in mixed-ownership environments
Experience implementing and maintaining feature flags and running A/B tests
Product-driven, customer-first thinking with no compromise on layout, animation or interaction quality
Ability to discuss and reason through technical decisions with other engineering teams
Maturity required to guide and coach less experienced colleagues
