Description

Warner Bros. Discovery is looking for a Senior Software Engineer specializing in iOS/tvOS to join the CNN Connected TV Engineering team. The role involves high‑level autonomy, ownership of complex technical challenges, and shaping the team’s technical direction. You will work closely with product, design and delivery leaders to deliver high‑quality Connected TV experiences.

Responsibilities

Develop and deliver high‑quality features for CNN tvOS applications
Own complex technical tasks and ensure they meet engineering standards
Contribute to architectural decisions and improve codebase quality
Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on best practices
Implement automated testing, CI/CD processes and monitor production issues
Document technical contributions and evolve engineering standards

Requirements

Minimum 5 years of professional experience with Swift for iOS/tvOS
Strong knowledge of tvOS development, UIKit and SwiftUI
Experience with test‑driven development and CI/CD pipelines
Proficiency in using IDEs, source control, code review tools
Ability to design and implement large‑scale, high‑performance architectures
Excellent communication skills for cross‑functional collaboration and mentorship
