Description

Senior test automation architect role at Expleo Group, shaping test automation strategies for leading clients. Involves building frameworks, CI/CD environments, and consulting in agile projects across industries like automotive and banking.

Responsibilities

Responsibility for architecture, strategy and further development of test automation solutions
Building scalable, maintainable and enterprise-wide frameworks
Tool and technology evaluation and integration into complex system landscapes
Consulting clients and internal teams in defining and implementing test strategies
Close collaboration with developers, testers and architects in agile projects
Co-designing CI/CD and DevOps pipelines with a strong focus on quality assurance
Supporting PreSales activities through technical analyses, proofs-of-concept and solution designs
Deployment in projects in areas such as Automotive, Aerospace, Banking, Insurance, MedTech or Energy

Requirements

Successfully completed degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or comparable qualification
Several years of professional experience in software testing, test automation and test architecture
In-depth expertise in common automation tools (e.g., Selenium, UFT, Playwright, Tosca, Appium)
Very good knowledge in at least one programming language (Java, Python, C#, JavaScript)
Solid experience with CI/CD environments (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps) and version control systems (Git)
Strategic and analytical thinking combined with hands-on mentality
Strong communication skills and experience in customer consulting and presentation
Fluent German (C1) and very good English skills
Willingness for occasional client deployments throughout Germany
