Description

Google is looking for a Software Engineer to work on Android applications using Jetpack Compose. The role involves building new functionality in the Remote Compose codebase and collaborating with cross‑functional teams across various form factors.

Responsibilities

Build new functionality in Remote Compose codebase
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams across wear, homescreen widgets, and other form factors
Design and iterate on APIs with team and community input
Focus on delivering best user experience for developer community
Work closely with Core Remote Compose team

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
2+ years of software development experience
2+ years of Android application development
Experience with Kotlin programming language
Strong knowledge of data structures and algorithms
Proficiency in API design and Android libraries
