Description

We are looking for an experienced System/Data Analyst to support a strategic migration of data products from Oracle/Hadoop to Google Cloud Platform. The role involves analyzing existing data structures, documenting flows, and collaborating with architects and business owners. The position is based in Warsaw with a hybrid work model and a direct B2B contract.

Responsibilities

Analyze existing data products in Oracle and Hadoop, including data structures and ETL logic
Document data flow diagrams and recommend migration approaches to GCP
Collaborate with architects, data engineers, and business owners to define migration requirements
Create functional and technical specifications for GCP solutions
Support design, testing, and validation of migrated data pipelines
Define and promote best practices for data migration and quality monitoring

Requirements

Minimum 3 to 5 years experience as a system or data analyst
Strong knowledge of SQL and ability to read complex queries
Experience with data migration projects, especially Oracle and Hadoop environments
Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform services such as BigQuery, Pub/Sub, and Cloud Composer
Ability to document end‑to‑end data flows and create functional specifications
Strong analytical mindset, proactive problem solving, and independent work style
