Description
Test Automation Engineer role at DSV, a global transport and logistics leader. The position focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining automated testing frameworks, integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines, and performing API, functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing. The role supports efficient software delivery within an Agile environment and promotes continuous quality improvement across projects.

Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks
Analyze business and technical requirements to determine automation opportunities
Execute automated tests and analyze test results
Create and maintain test data and testing environments
Identify, document, and track software defects
Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA team members to resolve issues
Integrate automated testing into deployment processes
Perform API, functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing
Prepare test reports and communicate testing status to stakeholders
Continuously improve automation frameworks, standards, and best practices
Support manual testing activities when required
Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field
Minimum 3 years of experience in software testing and test automation
Experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Appium, or equivalent
Proficiency in at least one programming language: Java, Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, or C#
Experience with API testing tools and frameworks
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
Experience with version control systems such as Git
Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
Relevant certifications (e.g., ISTQB) are advantageous
Fluent Business English (written and spoken)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
High attention to detail and commitment to quality
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
