Description

For its client, YER Deutschland is filling a Test Engineer position starting immediately. The role combines automated and manual software testing based on system requirements, with a strong focus on Python and Pytest. You will develop and specify test cases, run automated tests, continuously evolve the test framework and keep test documentation in Jira and Xray according to DO-178C standards for safety-critical software. The position is based in Berlin, Germany.

Responsibilities

Develop and specify automated and manual test cases based on system requirements
Run automated software tests with Python and Pytest and continuously develop the test framework
Perform manual software tests, analyze errors and document software bugs precisely
Work closely with software development and coordinate bug fixing and test results
Create and maintain test documentation in Jira and Xray according to DO-178C standards for safety-critical software

Requirements

Degree in computer science, software engineering, electrical engineering, industrial engineering or a comparable qualification
Experience in manual and automated software testing
Ideally first experience with DO-178C or BSI standards for safety-critical software
