Description
An international service management software company is looking for a UX Researcher for its Delft office. The role covers end-to-end qualitative and quantitative research across product areas, including AI-powered ITSM features, in close collaboration with UX Designers, Product Managers and Engineers in the Netherlands, Germany and Hungary. The researcher also helps keep the shared research practice organized through documentation, tooling and ResearchOps processes.
Responsibilities
Plan and execute qualitative and quantitative research end-to-end to understand user behaviors, needs and pain points
Select and apply appropriate research methods, including interviews, usability tests and surveys
Collaborate with Product Managers and Designers through generative and evaluative research, from framing questions to turning findings into decisions
Recruit participants, moderate sessions and analyze data into clear, actionable findings
Present research findings to Product Managers, UX Designers and Engineering teams
Maintain research documentation and contribute to a shared research repository
Contribute to ResearchOps: participant recruitment processes, research tooling, documentation standards and templates such as scripts and consent forms
Support lightweight research run by PMs and Designers with the right guidance and guardrails
Explore AI-powered features to build the next generation of ITSM platforms
Requirements
2+ years of professional experience in UX research
Planning and conducting end-to-end UX research studies with a variety of qualitative and quantitative methods
Bachelor's or master's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Cognitive Science, Anthropology, Design or a related field, or equivalent practical research experience
Ability to choose the right method to address each research question
Collaboration with Product Managers and Designers and embedding research into how teams work
Strong organizational instincts and drive to make research repeatable and well-documented
Using AI tools for transcription or synthesis while verifying AI-generated outputs against the original data
Ethical and compliant handling of research data and care for participants
Clear communication skills and ability to present findings succinctly to product teams
Proactive mindset and drive for continuous improvement of research practice
Fluent (C1) English for clear communication across teams
