Description

ZS is a management consulting and technology firm hiring a DevOps Engineer for its Business Technology team in Poland. The role involves designing and building cloud infrastructure from scratch, leading automation, and setting engineering best practices for AI-based analytics products. It is a senior-level position with a hybrid working model and requires travel for client engagements.

Responsibilities

Architect and provision cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code standing up environments from scratch
Design and build CI/CD pipelines set up and manage source-control repositories
Define branching and release-management strategies and lead migrations for example GitHub to GitLab
Automate deployment embed security and compliance into every environment
Use strong Python and scripting skills to remove manual effort across the engineering lifecycle
Set the technical standard for how ZS builds and scales its platforms in Poland

Requirements

Demonstrable hands-on experience as a DevOps engineer who has built and set up infrastructure from scratch
Strong Python skills for automation, scripting and tooling across the engineering lifecycle
Deep expertise in Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) e.g. Terraform to automate and provision cloud infrastructure
Hands-on cloud experience across AWS Azure or GCP including cloud design and architecture decisions
Strong source-control expertise with Git GitHub and GitLab setting up repositories establishing branching strategy
Proven experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines to automate containerised deployments to cloud and Kubernetes
Working knowledge of containerisation and orchestration Docker Jenkins and Kubernetes are desirable but not essential
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field or comparable practical experience
Exposure to healthcare pharmaceuticals biotechnology or medical technology is highly desirable
Fluency in English
Intense work ethic and collaborative spirit
