Description

Infor is hiring a Senior C++ Software Engineer to work on the LN Runtime Platform, a critical component used worldwide. The role involves platform modernisation, cloud transformation, performance optimisation, and AI-driven development. You will collaborate with architects, analysts, and QA engineers in a Barneveld office near Utrecht.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain core functionality in the LN Runtime Platform; Contribute to modernisation initiatives including cloud-native tech, AWS Aurora adoption, Linux migrations, scalability projects; Develop high-quality software with automated testing and documentation; Collaborate with Product Architects, Business Analysts, QA Engineers, and Software Engineers; Analyse and resolve complex technical challenges in performance, security, OS, databases, integrations; Leverage AI-assisted development tools; Contribute to improvement of engineering standards and processes.

Requirements

Must be based in the Netherlands; Proven experience in software development using C and C++; Experience with systems programming including memory management, multithreading, networking, IPC, and OS internals; Development experience on Windows and Linux/Unix platforms; Knowledge of relational databases and SQL; Experience with scripting languages like Python, Shell, Perl, or PowerShell; Strong analytical skills; Excellent English communication skills, Dutch strongly preferred; Interest in AI tools in development; Experience with AWS, cloud-native technologies, or large-scale distributed systems. Preferred: Experience with runtime platforms or systems-level software; Knowledge of PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server, or Amazon Aurora; Experience modernizing legacy applications; Familiarity with REST APIs, platform architecture, scalability; Experience with DevOps, automation, cloud operations; Fluency in Dutch.
